The Cantonment Board runs a school for special children called spurthy school around 60 special children with special needs are trained in speech therapy, physio therapy and behavioural modification. They are groomed in life skills to help them fend for themselves, eating, drinking, toilet, dressing etc. Physio therapy is provided to help in strengthening, stretching and using limbs and digits with improved dexterity.
