The Health and Sanitation section is headed by the Health Superintendent and assisted by Sanitary Superintendent and Sanitary Inspectors.  The Secunderabad Cantonment is divided into five circles and these circles are under the control of Sanitary Inspectors as per the circle allotted by the Chief Executive Officer.  The sanitary overseer and Dafedar act as supervisors over the Safaiwalas in different areas and assists Sanitary Inspectors in taking attendance and supervision over the Safaiwalas.

Five Circle Offices are stationed in different geographical areas of the Secunderabad Cantonment. 
The Sanitation Branch also assists Engineering Branch in detection, prevention, and removal of unauthorized constructions and encroachments.
